Keeps my 5 year old out!

So far i am really enjoying. We have a 5 year old autistic daughter who was able to remove our last door clamp lock and made it inside our garage while we we're asleep. We were very blessed that she never opened the garage. As you can see from the picture she is trying different tactics but thankfully hasnt solved it. I will report back if that changes! Its easy enough for adults to close and shut. The only thing we are struggling with a little bit is shutting it with ease. We have to pull the lock against the door to get it to shut. This could just be a flaw with our door since others have mentioned they havent had any issues. I really would recommend if you are struggling to keep your kids out of rooms you dont want them in and they've figured out other door locks.

My toddler learned how to open doors so I have been searching for a door lock so that he doesn’t wander off in the middle of the night. Very happy we decided on this one since it is so easy to install and use. Pro: Can be installed right away with no damage to walks or door. Just slip it on and you’re all set. Con: Need both hands to maneuver - one to hold the door lock open and another to turn the actual door handle. Can be loud if you don’t hold it open all the way or let it go too soon. I love how easy it is to use and it definitely works well. It is a but pricey but I think it’s completely worth it!

These are amazing! The solution we’ve been searching for! Two things: 1)it does leave some damage on the paint as it slightly slides on the door. 2) the closing mechanism is strong, meaning ti does snap shut and make a loud sound. Has woken a light sleeper. A small price to pay for a great product!

These have truly been a lifesaver. My son is level 3 on the spectrum and he’s an eloper if you know, you know. Since he sleeps in my room, this has helped me rest so much better at night. It keeps him safely inside without me worrying that he’ll try to elope while we’re asleep. I’ve tried so many products in the past, but I would highly recommend this one. It’s simple to use, reliable, and you can place it on most doors in the house. The durability is 10/10 he pulls on the doors frequently and it never once has broken.

In total I have purchased 4 or 5 of these. Some for me and some for my daughter. I believe they are much safer than other locks I have seen that have lever blocks. In an emergency these would be easy to open. I especially like that if the lock is out and you shut the door behind you while in the room, you can still open it up to exit. I use mine to keep little ones out of rooms that they don’t need to be in, like my office and waking up their napping little sister. Nice quality, easy to install, move and they are virtually invisible on white doors.

This door lock is amazing! We transitioned our toddler to a big boy bed and he figured out the lock and kept opening his door and leaving. This has kept him in the room, but also allows for me to unlock it from the outside once he’s asleep so he can come out on his own once he’s awake. It’s very sturdy too! There were definitely a few times he was really tugging and pushing on the door and it stayed put. It’s very easy to use and install. I plan to buy another once baby #2 is here to keep him out of her room while she’s sleeping.

This lock does the job and doesn’t have to be assembled. It fits the door and would be very difficult for a small child to operate. The price is great and if you have the right door frame, it’s a good product to buy. I recommend it.

Very easy to install. Even easier to use. Thus far, no damage to door or frame. It's keeping the kiddo out of pantry. We have the oval doorknobs and of course, no easy way to cover those as you would a round knob. This is the best alternative! Daughter and grandson reside with us, so baby proofing after 35 years of having a little one running around has been quite the experience. Just ordered a second one for the bathroom until we start potty training, then it will come off.
